We Crowned a new Miss Dallas and Miss Teen Dallas!
I judged the Miss Dallas and Miss Teen Dallas pageants this year. It's part of the Miss America system. The winner goes to Miss Texas and then to Miss America. I really enjoyed it and will be judging more pageants in the future as time permits. Some of the girls were so talented and they really went all out to put on a show for us. That's Matt Cox..he was our official Judge's Host and he's just awesome. See the winners here...

Wine Women and Shoes
The Dallas Women's Museum asked me to be a model for their annual Wine Women and Shoes charity benefit. It was sooo much fun! I went straight to the event after arriving in DFW from San Francisco. I missed the run through and had to do my own hair in the bathroom because the hair people had already finished (i know....i have time management problems). Check out some of the photos here...i really didn't know what was going on but i pretended that i did.

Women in Business Awards and Article
Here are the photos from the Women in Business awards and the scan on my page. It was an interesting event although I felt somewhat out of place. When I was interviewed, I was asked who my historical role model was. I answered "Madonna." But I wasn't expecting them to flash a giant photo of my role model on the monitors before I went onstage. That was kind of weird....but also kind of cool ;-)

Fortune Trunk Show in Phoenix Apricot Lane
Abi and I spent the weekend in Arizona to host a trunk show on Friday and a fashion show on Saturday for Apricot Lane. The events were a huge success and we overloaded on In-and-Out Burger while we were there. Thanks Robin for all the free clothes! The photos here are only from the trunk show. Still waiting on the fashion show photos....
Fortune Sponsoring FIA GT1 Corvette in Belgium/Holland on TV Eurosport
So my Belgian BFF Griet (who also has her own reality show in Europe) managed to hook us up with this sweet sponsorship. These pics are of an FIA GT1 competition circuit (right below Formula 1) Corvette that will be racing all over Europe this summer. Check out the Fortune Logo. Watch for it on TV Eurosport.

"Women of Purpose" Book Photoshoot
I did the shoot for the Women of Purpose book today. When I showed up for the shoot to my pleasant surprise my hairdresser Chris was styling the shoot! I know...he totally monopolizes ALL the styling gigs in DFW because he is the best and everyone wants a piece of him. I was happy with the makeup and the hair. The corset and skirt i'm wearning are of course by Abi Ferrin. The whole thing had a Chinese Gothic vibe. Here are some shots that Chris took from behind the scenes. More info on the book to follow soon.....

Randomness.....
Rhetorical Questions....(unless you wanna answer - I prefer your answers via text message or bbm and make sure you are extremely detailed)..
1. What happened to Aubrey O'Day? No seriously. What happened? I really love her. Are her breasts real? I need to know....
2. Why is Sean Jackson's (aka Cocolush) head so big? I really like standing next to him in photographs because it makes my head look relatively smaller. Is this typical of Ugandans? He must have a big brain in there...
3. Why is my 80 year old grandmother doing jello shots at my b-day party?
4. Can I please dress like this everyday? I really love the attention. I'm making Saturdays "Halloween-day" from here on out.
Tall In The Saddle
Hit up another event tonight too....The opening of the "Tall in the Saddle" exhibition at the Women's Museum. Got to catch up with some cool people I haven't seen in a long time. And also got to look at some flippin sweet photos of chicks riding horses, bulls and partaking in cool rodeo stuff. Take a look at these pigs. Aren't they the best? Makes me wanna eat some extra crispy bacon with scrambled eggs.
This Guy R-R-Rocks.
So tonight I went to this party at my bank. And here i am with David Tai. He is the President of the bank. And I love him. You know why? Because he extended me a line of credit to start Fortune Denim when no one else would. I pitched him my business plan over a sushi lunch and he said "yes." And that is why I love him.

IT'S BRITNEY BITCH!
Yes I love Britney. No I am not ashamed to admit it. No, she's not as good as Madonna (who i saw FRONT ROW at Madison Square Garden by the way) but close enough. I was entertained. It was a happy time for all. "There's only 2 kinds of people in the world. The one's that entertain, and the ones that observe." Have a good nite yall!
DIFFA Media Event
Me and Allison (Alliepoo) hit up the DIFFA Utopia Charity/Media thing on Tuesday. Yep...it was the same night as Britney. Oops. Needless to say, we stayed just long enough to get a photo with my jacket (that was up for auction), eat some finger foods (hello...can i just please take the whole tray of food?), and mingle with a few nice people. Check out the model wearing my Jacket...Then...off to Britney-land we went!
